EDS ROCKJOCK 7O

Furthermore, the massive 70 HD bearings have larger journal surface areas and higher deflection control with higher dynamic thrust ratings for long easy bearing life.

The picture shows a Jeep JK application with semi float axles. These are available in 35 and 40 spline configurations. These are also available in the more expensive full float options. Both options use original brakes and keep current ABS systems, that simply bolt on.

THE CURRIE 7O HD IS THE ANSWER.

Custom options are also available.  Currently available in 5.13 and 5.38. More ratio options are coming.

The Dana 70 high pinion by Currie Enterprises built by EDS is the answer to heavy demand rear Off-Road applications. It's Junior cousin, the Dana 60 reverse, was a good answer for lighter and less powerful vehicles needing a high pinion for steep angle drive shafts or high ground clearance . However, due to the reverse rotation, the drive "ran" on the coast side of the gear in forward. This resulted in a high amount of gear deflection creating premature wear on expensive case journals. This would also lead to complete premature differential failure if not detected and/or repaired. The Currie 70 HD is the direct answer to this problem. A ring gear load bolt and a full 10.5" ring gear solves the higher torque input load by increasing leverage and stabilizing the deflection with a load bolt.
